Since 1998, my focus as an expert witness is in human resources (HR) and workplace security. I have testified as an expert in federal and superior court on issues related to background checks, negligent hiring, negligent supervision, and security failures. I am internationally known as an author, keynote speaker, and trainer on workplace violence, school violence, and domestic violence prevention. I hold a doctorate in Business Administration, an MA in Security Management, a BS in Psychology, and a BA in English. I am board certified in HR, security, employee coaching, and threat assessment and threat management. I have written 27 books on business, security, leadership, and criminal justice topics.
