Dr Jorge Carmona MD

Dr. Jorge Carmona is a Board Certified General Surgeon. He is based out of El Paso, Texas -- but is available nationwide. Dr. Carmona has been in practice since 2016 and is currently Vice-Chief of Surgery at The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus. He earned his Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of Puerto Rico and completed his residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He is an expert in all aspects of general surgery, including gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery, and bowel surgery among others. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Carmona has also published several peer-reviewed articles and presented numerous times at professional conferences. He has particular interest and expertise in robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He has over 1000 robotic cases completed.
